Product Description

We have an installation manual in pdf form for every Rinnai Heater, just click on the blue link located with each model in the Rinnai heating section. We highly recommend you read the entire manual from front to back and keep it handy during the install. Check with local plumbing codes, before installing.

The Rinnai installation manual is detailed and will be of great assistance when installing.

Here is a brief overview : A rinnai heater is very easy to install, after selecting the location and considering the clearences stipulated, you will need to make a 3 1/8 Hole in the outside wall where heater is being installed.

The vent flue pipe is installed through the hole and secured with a mounting flange on outside and hanger iron straps drawn tight to the inside flange.

Attach the air inlet hose and the vent exhaust to the manifold.

Next run 1/2 gas line to within 24 inches of the heater and then use our installation kit which includes a 1/2 gas valve and flex line to connect to the Rinnai unit.

Plug the Rinnai into a standard wall outlet, a surge supressor is highly recommended, and you are ready to go.

We do recommend you contact a Rinnai installer in your area or plumbing contractor to install your heater adhering to local codes.

The Rules

  • Within 10 days of receipt of your order, you may return all unused items ordered from HectorsHardware.Com for a full refund minus a 25% re-stocking Charge. We do not refund shipping & handling charges.




  • All items returned must have been purchased from HectorsHardware.com)




  • All items returned must be in as shipped condition within the original box. If any product has been installed - it can not be returned.

    If you have a warranty issue please call us at 716-688-4488 ext.100 we will attempt to solve your problem and send you repalcement parts under warranty, if you are not able to do the work yourself you must contact a Rinnai dealer in your area. Please check for Rinnai service dealers before making your purchase.



  • Please open all boxes immediately and check for contents and damage. We must know within 3 days upon your receiving products of any damage/problems.


  • If the packaging appears damaged on the outside, please refuse to accept it from the carrier; or please make sure that when you sign the shippers proof-of-delivery slip that you include a note stating that the package is/appears damaged. If you do accept a damaged shipment, please inform us immediately. We do expect you to deal with the carrier in that case. If you prefer for us to deal with the carrier, we must know within 3 days of your receipt of the product that it was damaged. Also, if there was any internal (non-visible) damage, this should be reported to the carrier (or to us) within 3 days of receiving the product.


  • Any item returned with out an RGA or any items that were "Refused Delivery" and sent back will have an extra 15% restocking charge. So please contact us before you send any products back!


  • Any order shipped with free shipping will be billed for shipping if the item is returned.




  • Credits occur twice a month - generally near the 15th and 30th of the month. However, all Gas heaters and space heaters are sent back to mfg for testing. Thus, these products may require an extra 2 weeks before we will credit your credit card.



  • Special Order products (items that do not have prices listed on our web page and that you received a special quote on) may not be returned.


  • And of course, if an item was shipped in error - we will refund you the total amount of your order.
  • Installation problems with heaters(error codes) can be easily remedied by calling the technicians at Rinnai or calling Pete at HectorsHardware.com





Refunds



You must contact us via email, the "Contact Us" button or via the phone below for authorization to return items. Without a proper authorization - items returned to us - will not be accepted. Also, we will need to give you our return shipping address and a return authorization code. Don't send any items back to HectorsHardware.com unless you get a authorization code, shipping information and shipping address. If you do - you may send the return to the wrong warehouse and we may not be able to know that it was returned.
